Dr. Debra
Forensic Psychologist and Founder
Dr. Debra completed her doctorate in Forensic Psychology from Alliant International University in Fresno, California. Dr. Debra is currently a Professor in Los Angeles. She received her Master of Arts and Master of Education in counseling psychology from Columbia University, Teachers College, in New York City, and Dr. Debra has served as an adjunct professor for several universities and as Lead Faculty for Chapman University’s Marriage and Family Therapy program. Dr. Warner has also served as Special Assistant to the Dean of Academic Affairs: Diversity and Community Engagement and as Lead Faculty for the Forensic Psychology department for Los Angeles and Irvine. Some of her other professional assignments have included the Department of Homeland Security, Los Angeles Police Department, C.U.R.E.-A Better Los Angeles, the Department of Defense, the Department of Corrections and Regional Center. For these assignments, she designed the program elements related to mental health and evaluation. Moreover, she served as a clinical supervisor relating to human trafficking, trauma, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, and multicultural therapeutic techniques.
In 2009, she received several awards and recognitions for community engagement from the Los Angeles City Attorney, the Department of Defense, the Los Angeles Police Department, and The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. In 2013 she was given a distinguished teaching award for Outstanding Public Service Teaching. She currently is a peer reviewer on several academic journals and is part of the Medical Advisory Board for Quality Health. In 2015, she became a regular Tuesday night co-host of the weekly syndicated radio show Stop Child Abuse Now (SCAN) on Blog Talk Radio with Bill Murray. She served on the board of directors for The National Partnership to End Interpersonal Violence Across the Lifespan (NPEIV) relating to
public awareness and publicity. She was previously appointed to the advisory board for A Better LA. She is an invited consultant involving academic program review and evaluation both nationally and internationally. She is a popular speaker pertaining to community gang intervention. She now focuses her clinical practice on male survivor issues of abuse, violence, and trauma. She has written several encyclopedia entries related to crime and justice for Sage publications (Encyclopedia of Transnational Crime and Justice and Encyclopedia of Criminal Justice Ethics). Currently, her research focuses on diversity issues connected to mental health and male survivor trauma. In her spare time, she creates trainings for law enforcement and attorneys related to mental health and the court system. It should be noted that in all of her professional endeavors, she involves students often for professonal development.

Dr. Crystal Flores
Director of Clinical Services
Dr. Crystal (PSB94026762) is a second generation Chicana who specializes in working with the Latine population. She provides services in both Spanish and English and values diversity and inclusion. Dr. Crystal recognizes the need for learning ancestral and indigenous practices as a means of providing culturally competent services. Dr. Crystal attended The Chicago School of Professional Psychology where she earned her Psy.D. in 2017. She is passionate about community work and strives to empower, educate, and uplift historically marginalized and disenfranchised populations including but not limited to black, indigenous, people of color (BIPOC), LGBTQ+, non-binary, and gender non-conforming folx.
Dr. Crystal worked closely with Dr. Debra Warner since beginning graduate school in 2013. Dr. Crystal was part of a group of graduate students that helped found the Summit on Community Resilience, Intervention, Prevention, and Training (SCRIPT) in 2015 along with Dr. Warner. SCRIPT is a yearly professional conference centering issues related to male survivors of trauma and violence that is free and open to the community. During her graduate school training and career Dr. Crystal worked across a variety of settings including substance abuse programs, juvenile detention centers, community mental health and forensic HUB clinics. Following her graduation in 2017 she worked in forensic private practice until 2021. Dr. Crystal provided individual psychotherapy and helped to prepare psychological reports, complete psychological evaluations for medical legal cases, immigration cases, and workers compensation cases. She had the opportunity to attend immigration court hearings as well as testify on a medical legal case. In 2022 she started working under the direct supervision of Dr. Debra helping to translate a book in Spanish and develop the Listen and Love University. Dr. Debra presented the idea for the MTI in 2022 and they have not looked back since then.
Dr. Roxann Wright
Director of Psychological Evaluations
Dr. Roxann Wright (PSB94024801) received her Doctorate of Clinical Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology – Los Angeles Campus in 2018. She holds a Bachelor degree in Psychology for the Helping Professions and a Masters in Forensic Psychology. She has worked as a therapist at Ness Counseling Center, a non-profit for court ordered and voluntary low SES clients and San Fernando Valley Mental Health Centers for Older Adults FCCS providing mental health care for 55+. She holds a position on the clinical team at Valley Mountain Regional Center in Stockton, Modesto, and San Andreas evaluating the eligibility of the developmentally disabled populations for services and providing competency evaluations for the court for developmentally disabled populations. Dr. Wright additionally works at the Psychology Assessment Resource Center in Rocklin, CA providing psychological assessments/evaluations for forensic, educational, immigration, diagnostic, and treatment purposes as well as working with therapy clients dealing with trauma, abuse, and mental health disorders.
